The Experience
What makes you different from other DJs?
This isn’t just about playing songs; it’s about creating the right atmosphere at the right moment. Through live mixing, seamless transitions, and reading the room in real time, the energy is shaped to keep your dancefloor full from start to finish.
What if the dancefloor goes quiet?
Every event is managed in real time. By reading the crowd and adapting instantly, the music is adjusted to rebuild energy and bring guests back onto the dancefloor naturally.
How do you avoid awkward transitions?
All music is mixed live, not just played, ensuring smooth, seamless transitions that keep the energy flowing without interruption.
Planning Your Day
Do you help with the timeline?

Equipment & Setup
How early do you arrive before an event?
Arrival is typically 2–3 hours before guest arrival, ensuring everything is fully set up, tested, and ready without any disruption.
How much time do you need to set up?
Setup usually takes 1.5–2 hours depending on the venue and setup requirements.

Do you have any extra space requirements?
A standard DJ setup space is required (typically around 2m x 2m), along with access to a power supply.
On The Day
Do you take any breaks?
No, music continues seamlessly throughout. If a short pause is needed, background music is always maintained so there are no gaps or loss of atmosphere.
Do you require a meal?
For longer events, a supplier meal is appreciated and helps maintain energy throughout the performance, but this can always be discussed in advance.
Will you act as an MC?
Yes, if required, helping guide key moments and keep everything running smoothly.
What do you wear?
Professional attire appropriate to your wedding style and setting.
Sound & Venue Requirements
What is the acceptable sound level at a venue?
Every venue has its own sound limiter or decibel restrictions, which are always respected to ensure compliance while still delivering the best possible atmosphere.
Most UK wedding venues typically allow sound levels around 90–95 dB. Limits closer to 85 dB are more restrictive and can make the music feel more like background sound, particularly for larger weddings. In some cases, sound limiters can even be triggered by crowd noise, which may affect the overall energy on the dancefloor.
Wherever possible, sound is managed carefully to maintain both compliance and a great party atmosphere.
Pricing & Payments
How much does a wedding DJ cost?
Pricing varies depending on your event, location, and requirements. A tailored quote is provided based on your exact needs.
Are there any additional costs?
Everything is clearly outlined upfront, with no hidden fees or surprises.
Reliability & Backup
Do you have liability insurance?
Yes, full public liability insurance is in place, and documentation can be provided to your venue if required.
What happens if equipment fails?
Backup equipment is always available to ensure uninterrupted music throughout your event.
What happens if you can’t attend?
In the unlikely event of an emergency, a trusted network of experienced DJs can step in, ensuring your day is fully covered.
